The stellar musicians featured on the first volume in our For the Love of KING LP series —The Sapphire Album — are Paul McCartney, Delbert McClinton, Otis Williams, Ralph Stanley I and II, Matthew Whittaker, The War and Treaty, Ruthie Foster, Lucy Woodward, Vanessa Collier, Southern Avenue, and Elles Bailey. This spectacular disc is a sampler of sorts — a foreshadowing of the incredible music to come on the future volumes in this benefit series.
