In 1968, he found a home in Dakar Records when a Texas DJ flipped his first release and started playing the b-side 'Can I Change My Mind'. The song went to #1 in the R&B charts and top 5 in US Billboard charts. This is his stunning 1969 debut album is reissued with original artwork and printed inner sleeve.
