One of the feel-good stories of 2021 was Jimmy Fallon overhearing Thad Cockrell's song "Swingin'" in a hardware store, loving it, tracking it down, and contacting him on the very day he was going to hang it all up and inviting him to perform it on The Tonight Show.

Thad Cockrell's first solo album in over a decade. In Case You Feel The Same taps into the tremendous depth of expression he's brought co-writing songs for artists such as Joy Williams, Devon Gilfillian, Joseph and Mathew Caws of Nada Surf. It was produced by Tony Berg (Phoebe Bridgers, the Replacements, etc.) and includes collaborations with Brittany Howard, Blake Mills and Shawn Everett.
