New Order - Ceremony (Version 1) [12" Single]

Four 12 inch singles were released around the same period as New Order's 1981 debut Movement but did not feature on the album. Recorded at Eastern Artists Recordings in East Orange, New Jersey, New Order's first single might, in an alternative universe, have been Joy Division's next. The 12" single, which was originally released in March 1981 (the 7" having been released in January) and included the original version of "Ceremony" b/w "In A Lonely Place," has been remastered and comes pressed on heavyweight vinyl.
