
James Gang's Sophomore Studio Album Rides Again on LP. Contains the Group's Hit Single "Funk #49."
The second studio album by James Gang, Rides Again was recorded in November 1969, and released the following year. It was the first LP by the band to feature bassist Dale Peters, who joins Jim Fox on drums, and leader Joe Walsh (later a member of The Eagles) on guitars, keyboards and vocals. The album, which was produced by Bill Szymczyk (also producer for B.B. King and The Eagles), contains the group's hit "Funk #49."
