The cover features a Hebrew phrase which may be transliterated in Latin characters as "Tohu wabohu". This phrase is often translated as something like "Without form and void".
The lettering is taken from the first edition of the rabbinic bible from Venice handcopied in the year 1525.

The inner sleeve contains a selection from the book of Jeremiah in both Hebrew and English.
