Raleigh, North Carolina heavy metal outfit Between The Buried And Me originally released their self-titled debut on Lifeforce Records in 2002. The impressive 8-song set creatively mixes stomping, progressive metal with elements of hardcore and is chock-full of brutal breakdowns, intricate arrangements and frequent shifts in mood. The band signed with Victory Records shortly after its release and followed suit with a string of five consecutive albums for the label.
