Peaking at No. 5 on the US Billboard Rap Albums Chart and No. 8 on the US Billboard R&B Albums Chart, Free 6LACK is a testament to 6LACK's uncanny ability to inspire a new generation of R&B. "I wanted [the album] to serve as kind of a statement for everything, summarize the last five to six years of my life," he tells Billboard.
