On the flipside, the Thelonious Monk quartet comprised of Charlie Rouse, Butch Warren, and Frankie Dunlop stretch out on a pair of compositions.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003eOf special note is an appearance by Pee Wee Russell during the Monk performances as well as the fact that this album, in addition to Jazz at the Plaza, is the only non-bootlegged recording of a live Davis combo earlier than the famed 1960 \u003cem\u003eAt the Blackhawk\u003c\/em\u003e album.
