As well as serving up his own version Of 'Working In The Coal Mine', Toussaint recorded other originals like 'From A Whisper To A Scream' and 'Everything I Do Is Gonna Be Funky'. There were also four instrumental tracks - 'Pickles', 'Louie', 'Either' and a sublime version of 'Cast Your Fate To The Wind' listed as 'Allen Toussaint at the piano'.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e The original version of\u003cem\u003e Toussaint\u003c\/em\u003e was released in 1970 on Scepter records and is now hailed as a soulful classic.
